Pink Flamingos | Home and Garden Decor

No matter where you live pink flamingos have been a part of American culture for over 60 years.
Donald Weatherstone | Sculptor - Creator of Pink Flamingos
In 1957, Donald Featherstone, (pictured above) a sculptor from Worcester, Massachusetts, was hired by Union Plastics in Leominster, Massachusetts to create the lawn ornament.  Mr. Featherstone passed away on June 22, 2015, but his legacy lives on in yards across America.  As they say the rest is history.
Pink flamingos are no longer just lawn ornaments.
They are produce on everything from pillows to salt and pepper shakers, from door mats to wall hooks.
